SUMMER CAMPS 2024
Have we got a camp for you!
All of our week long Summer Musical Theater Camps will be working on a showcase to teach your child stage presence, vocal and dance technique, and acting skills like ‘ensemble think.’ The 3 hour classes will be split into smaller time slots spent in the dance studio, the music room and the acting room, as well as going outside for breaks and get to know you games. Each child will receive individual help on any of the material that will be performed at the end of the week.
For the older children (ages 8 and up), the showcases will start and end with a group number. There will be two other group numbers, each with half of the group. Other acts within the showcase can be self-selected by students and proposed to directors. Once the students have gotten to know each other, they can choose to dance to a song with their friends, or perform a monologue, or sing a duet!
The proposal of these additional acts will be proposed in an audition like setting to the directors so the kids can learn good audition etiquette and skills. These smaller acts will then be directed and coached.The showcase will be on Friday, the last day of class.
For the younger children (under the age of 8), the showcases will be entirely organized by the directors and will be all group numbers! We will explore theater and performance skills through play. The performance will be on Friday, the last day of class.

Cost: $125 (only $8 per hour!)
June 3-7
Ages 5-8
This will be a showcase based on fairy tales like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, the 3 Little pigs, and more! Kids will learn choreography, singing and and story-telling skills to be performed in the showcase.
June 10-14
Ages 9-12
We will spend a week learning music and choreography from our favorite underwater musicals. There will be two full group numbers at the top and end of the show. Solo, duos, and trio opportunities will be available for each child. These solo/ duo opportunities will be self-selected and then proposed in an audition-like-setting to the directors. Throughout the camp there will be various games and activities centered around Singing, Dancing, and Acting. Endless Teamwork opportunities and incredible memories. June 17-21
Ages 13-17
Throughout this camp will explore the 20th century through the decades. America’s most loved Broadway shows that take place from the 1900’s all the way till now! We will explore the 20th century through the decades. Many dance styles will be available to learn. Tapping from the 20s, jazz from the 60s, hip hop from the 80s, etc. Numbers from Broadway favorites! The showcase will run in chronological order of time period.
The performance will have 2 large group numbers, and 2 half group numbers, the rest will be proposals, which if approved will be directed. Allow students a place to create as well as learn. All showcases are a place for bonding since they can choose to do something with some friends. This show stopping summer camp will showcase all levels of talent!!
June 24-28
Ages 4-6
We will sing and dance to songs from broadway shows with our favorite princes and princesses! We will have a performance on the last day of class for friends and family to attend. Kids will wear costumes from home any days they want throughout the camp.

July 8-12
Ages 5-8
We will spend a week learning music and choreography from our favorite underwater musicals, and celebrating the beauty of the ocean through performance. Students can propose more abstract ideas than just songs from musicals. They could write a poem about the ocean to be performed, or could dance a contemporary duet with a friend. The sea’s the limit!
July 15-19
Ages 9-12

Ages 10-17
The Summer Camp you won't want to miss! This camp is centered all around ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Our directors will create an amazing performance using Beauty and the Beast's most loved songs. Choreography will be fun and challenging including the opportunity to learn a waltz! There will be scenes, group numbers, solo and duet opportunites, monologues, exciting choreography, and endless fun! These solo, duo, acting, and dancing opportunities will be self-selected and then proposed in an audition-like-setting to the directors.
