We offer SMALL classes (no more than 10 per class) for more personalized attention that you won’t get anywhere else.
We put on Showcases, Concerts, Recitals, Performances and offer Competitions for our Companies (audition only) throughout the year.
We love and care about our students and their success first and foremost, and want to provide them with the best instruction and experience possible.
The Johnson Family
John and Lara Johnson dreamed of opening a performing arts school that upheld their values and provided the variety and quality of education necessary to create a renaissance artist who can do it all! They wanted to create a venue that brings joy to people’s lives through the arts and that offers many opportunities to the amazing talent in Utah Valley to instruct and also learn from amazing instructors. What We Offer
Acting Classes
We offer acting courses for a well rounded acting education and opportunities to perform 4 times a year in our Actor Showcases. Feel comfortable in front of the camera and on stage, build a repertoire of monologues, become self confident to express yourself in front of an audience. Nail your auditions. Life is a stage: the skills learned here will not only make you a better actor but will benefit you in all aspects of your life.
Dance Classes
Provo School of the Arts understands it’s community and is the most versatile dance school offering a wide range of styles from Ballet to Hip Hop all at affordable prices. We offer non competition classes and uphold modesty in music, dress and demeanor. Our qualified instructors will teach you the dance skills you need to achieve your dancing goals. Competitive Dance Companies
For our serious dancers come and audition for one of our award winning competitive dance companies: ASPIRE, ELITE, PREMIERE, & LIMITLESS. If you would like to audition, please text us your name, and company you wish to audition for.
Private Music Lessons
Learn to play an instrument! We offer many different styles of music lessons from piano, electric guitar, flute & violin. Here you will learn to, and have many opportunities to, play in front of an audience. You will gain experience that will help you grow your self confidence. Develop the ability to accompany singers or yourself, play in an orchestra, rock band, church, or simply for your own personal enjoyment.
Voice Classes
With decades of singing experience, our seasoned instructors will take your singing abilities to the next level. We will educate you about your instrument and use proven methods and techniques to help you improve your vocal prowess. You will also learn how to perform by doing it often. There are at least 5 Vocal Showcases per year along with other performance opportunities through-out the year. Register for private lessons or group classes today.
Date Night Ballroom
Plan the perfect DATE NIGHT where you will be given a one hour dance lesson, taught by one of our fantastic Ballroom instructors in a dance style of your choosing. Then, if you choose, you will enjoy one hour of private dancing in our “dance club” (limit 5 couples). Schedule your perfect date night TODAY!
