ACTING 1

Ages 18+

In this class we will explore the basic skills and fundamentals of how to succeed in the acting industry. We'll use monologues and scenes to learn vital acting techniques and build your repertoire. You will also learn and practice skills such as auditioning for stage plays, self-taping for films, cold reading and more. 

Actors also need to understand how to navigate the business side of things in order to thrive and survive as a working actor. We will discuss demo reels, castability, resumes, getting an agent and headshots, etc. By the end of the class you will have accumulated an actor’s essential toolbelt, sending you on a trajectory towards success. 

This class is more focused towards those who are looking to make a career in acting, but can apply to anyone looking to grow their skills in acting.
